Do:
- Sit straight and centered in the camera
- Maintain eye contact by looking at the webcam, not screen
- Keep your hands visible in the frame occasionally
- Use head nods and facial expressions to show attentiveness
Don’t:
- Slouch or keep webcam too low/high
- Look distracted (checking phone or multitasking)
- Keep hand on chin or face all the time
- Practice online body language using Zoom recordings before the real interview.
AT THE END OF THE INTERVIEW
Do:
- Say:
“Thank you for your time, Sir/Madam. It was a pleasure speaking with you.” - Smile gently and make eye contact
- Stand up slowly and confidently
- Leave the room with calm steps and proper posture

- Rush out or turn your back too quickly
- Look disappointed or overly excited
- Forget to thank them
