Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Amazon employees by handling inbound and outbound calls, as well as chats, related to HR queries.
  • Accurately log all interactions and requests into the shared service case management system (ticketing tool) and ensure timely resolution.
  • Address inquiries related to company policies, employee benefits, payroll deductions, attendance, and other HR programs.
  • Consistently adhere to defined SOPs and quality benchmarks to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards across various employee groups and geographies.
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for response and resolution times.
  • Apply sound judgment, empathy, and critical thinking to resolve complex employee issues while maintaining process integrity.
  • Uphold data privacy and demonstrate discretion in handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned queries to ensure accurate and satisfactory resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 0 to 10 years of experience in an international voice process.
  • Willingness to work in a contact center/help desk environment with rotational shifts, including night shifts.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to handle phone and email interactions professionally.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and business email etiquette.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an HR help desk or shared services environment.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as PeoplePortal.
  • Background in handling employee life cycle processes in a global organization is a plus.
