Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Solution Architect (Pre-Sales Director level) to lead strategic SAP sales opportunities and deliver impactful enterprise-level solutions. This is a key leadership role driving customer engagement, solution strategy, and technical vision for SAP S/4HANA and related platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Leadership & Solutioning:
- Lead pre-sales efforts for large and complex SAP transformation programs (Projects, AMS, and AS engagements).
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture, including crafting proposals, designing best-fit solutions, and delivering compelling client presentations and demos.
- Collaborate with sales teams to build go-to-market (GTM) strategies and develop innovative offerings.
- Define and lead the technical solutioning and estimation process aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Client Engagement:
- Engage with C-level executives and stakeholders to understand business needs and articulate the value of SAP solutions.
- Facilitate solution workshops, discovery sessions, and design engagements to develop tailored client-specific roadmaps.
- Develop strong customer relationships to drive long-term strategic partnerships.
Solution Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and integrated modules, especially in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
- Translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions while highlighting ROI, TCO, and transformation value.
- Stay current with SAP product roadmaps, innovations (e.g., BTP, S/4HANA Cloud), and market trends to influence solution strategies.
- Proposal Management & Delivery Enablement:
- Lead responses to RFPs/RFIs, building winning proposals with technical content and competitive messaging.
- Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery teams through formal handoff processes.
- Create business documentation, process maps, solution blueprints, and scope of work for implementations.
- Support internal enablement by mentoring and training pre-sales team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in SAP pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture.
- Proven track record in leading and winning large-scale SAP deals, especially cloud-based transformation engagements.
- Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, S/4HANA (On-premise and Cloud), BTP, and integration with core modules like Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Strong domain experience in Manufacturing or Life Sciences industries is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into business-focused value propositions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
