Role Overview:
We are hiring for a dynamic MI/Reporting Analyst to support one of our prestigious banking clients. This role requires a sharp analytical mindset, advanced Excel and VBA skills, and a proactive approach to reporting, automation, and insights delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data requests based on business/user requirements.
- Leverage advanced MS Excel, VBA Macros, and MS Access to automate reporting processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Understand business drivers and create impactful, contextual reports tailored to various stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Analyze datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support ongoing reporting needs and ensure alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to compliance timelines for all reports and deliverables.
- Provide recommendations for improving data processes, tools, and reporting structure.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, etc.)
- Strong hands-on experience in VBA Macros (coding) and MS Access Database
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Management Information (MI) Reporting and familiarity with KPIs, KRAs, and SLAs.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) for client interaction and presentation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred/Additional Skills:
- Power BI development and dashboard maintenance
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic database querying
- Understanding of Workforce Management (WFM) processes
- Background in Finance, HR, or Accounting domains
- Exposure to banking industry metrics and performance indicators
Educational Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Excel, VBA, or Reporting tools will be an added advantage.
