About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate has experience delivering full-cycle software products, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems. If you’re passionate about clean architecture, system observability, and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of services/products — from requirements gathering to design, development, and production deployment
• Design and build scalable microservices using Java, with emphasis on performance, multithreading, and network programming
• Integrate and manage Kafka, RESTful APIs, and enterprise middleware such as MuleSoft for robust messaging and service orchestration
• Ensure system reliability by implementing observability practices using tools like Splunk, ELK/Kibana, Datadog, and Prometheus
• Optimize code for performance, maintainability, and scalability using industry best practices
• Apply cloud-native architecture patterns including auto-scaling, failover mechanisms, and circuit breakers
• Use DevOps tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD) to streamline development and deployment processes
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct detailed code reviews, and provide career guidance and structured feedback
• Embrace modern tools like GitHub Copilot to improve code quality, development speed, and team efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• 7–10 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in Java and its internals (JVM, concurrency, I/O, etc.)
• Proven ability to build and scale microservices-based applications in production environments
• Experience with message-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies
• Familiarity with application monitoring and logging tools and best practices in system observability
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and infrastructure resilience patterns
• Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and a track record of mentorship and leadership
