Role & Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Territory Coverage
- Establish strong professional relationships with physicians, clinics, and healthcare practitioners to build lasting trust and engagement.
- Ensure comprehensive doctor coverage, targeting a minimum of 85–90% within the assigned territory.
- Conduct 9–10 strategic field visits daily, focusing on both existing and potential referral sources.
- Explore under-covered or emerging areas to generate new leads and enhance referral outreach.
- Plan and execute regular outstation visits, especially to rural or remote areas, to expand market presence and doctor engagement.
- Referral Development & Revenue Contribution
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly referral targets and year-to-date (YTD) goals in patient volumes and revenue.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize referral trends across both cardiology and non-cardiology specialties.
- Collaborate closely with hospital consultants and operational teams to streamline the patient referral and admission process.
- Assist in the empanelment of new consultants and maintain strong engagement with existing referral partners.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain 100% adherence to internal reporting protocols, including weekly summaries, daily visit logs, and monthly activity plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of field reports and referral updates to the reporting manager.
- Actively participate in monthly performance reviews, incorporating actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Referral Patient Coordination & Validation
- Validate and log all referral patients on a daily basis, ensuring traceability and proper documentation.
- Provide real-time admission updates in designated referral WhatsApp groups and offer post-treatment feedback to referring physicians as needed.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts for referral fee disbursements, including collection and validation of NEFT and bank details.
- Scientific Engagement & Strategic Initiatives
- Identify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to conduct impactful scientific events such as CMEs, RTMs, BLS camps, and Satellite Clinics.
- Actively contribute to hospital-led awareness campaigns and disease-specific outreach initiatives.
- Work with internal departments to develop engaging promotional content, such as “Case of the Week” and other knowledge-sharing tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Graduate in Science, Marketing, or Healthcare Management; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years in hospital business development, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare outreach roles.
