• Position: Sales Executive / Assistant Manager – Indoor Sales – UK shift
• Location: New Delhi (Work From Home)
• Experience: 2 – 4 Years in International Logistics
• Industry Requirement: Only candidates with a logistics background will be considered
• Shift Timing: 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 11:00 PM IST (UK Shift)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Executive / Assistant Manager – Indoor Sales to join our international business development team, focusing on expanding DTDC’s UK operations. This role will act as a critical sales and relationship point of contact from India, helping to build and grow DTDC’s customer base with a special focus on the UK, leveraging DTDC’s global logistics network, including Aramex and DPD.

Key Responsibilities

• International Sales Development:
  Drive sales growth by acquiring new clients and managing relationships within the UK inbound and transshipment segment, focusing on both B2B and B2C logistics.
• Client Management:
  Build strong and long-term relationships with customers, consistently increasing their business share with the DTDC group.
• Market Expansion:
  Engage with business prospects across India and the sub-continent, identifying trans-shipment and freight forwarding opportunities and closing deals by leveraging DTDC UK’s infrastructure.
• Sales Strategy Execution:
  Create and implement a strategic sales plan to acquire high-potential accounts and consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Opportunity Identification:
  Focus on generating new business in areas such as:

1. Inbound and transshipment to the UK
2. Import freight business
3. Cross-border eCommerce logistics
4. UK-India freight lane development and expansion

• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Collaborate with key stakeholders including DPD, Aramex, and internal DTDC units to align business goals, close deals efficiently, and scale operations.
• Market Intelligence:
  Collect and analyze market trends, customer demands, and competition insights in DTDC locations to inform business strategy and enhance overall efficiency.
• Lane Development:
  Develop and optimize freight and eCommerce lanes between India and the UK, with an emphasis on B2C cross-border eCommerce.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven success in international logistics sales, preferably in UK freight and eCommerce solutions.
• Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, eCommerce logistics, import/export regulations, and transshipment models.
• Skills:

1. Excellent communication and client handling
2. Strategic thinking and sales planning
3. Ability to work in a UK shift from India
4. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite

• Location Flexibility: Must be able to work remotely but stay aligned with UK business hours.
