Key Responsibilities:
- MVP Development: Design and develop full-stack MVP web applications using React (or similar) on the frontend and FastAPI or Node.js on the backend.
- Third-Party Integrations: Integrate data sources such as CoStar, Zillow, Yardi Matrix, and Neighborhood Scout.
- File Upload & Parsing: Build document upload functionality and develop logic to parse T12 and Rent Roll files (PDF/XLS).
- AI/LLM Integration: Use Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) to categorize, summarize, and convert extracted data into model-ready inputs.
- Automated Templates: Populate pre-built Excel models with structured data to streamline investment analysis.
- Investment Logic: Implement customizable investment filters to evaluate deals using “pass/fail” logic.
- Export & Reporting Tools: Build features to export executive summaries (PDF), financial models (Excel), and auto-generate LOIs.
- Performance Dashboard: Develop a centralized dashboard for deal tracking, KPIs, and API health monitoring.
Requirements:
- Backend Skills: Proficiency in Python (FastAPI) or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js)
- Frontend Skills: Experience with React.js / Next.js
- API Integration: Familiarity with OAuth, REST, or GraphQL APIs
- Data Parsing: Experience working with PDF/Excel parsing and structured data extraction
- AI Experience: Exposure to working with LLMs for data summarization and automation
- Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of real estate financials — including T12s, rent rolls, cap rates, and cash-on-cash returns
- UX Focus: A strong sense of user experience, particularly for financial dashboards and tools
