Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented full-stack developer to lead the deployment of a Matrix homeserver solution integrated with modern AI capabilities. The role requires proficiency in backend setup, frontend development, and intelligent feature integration to deliver a robust, scalable communication system.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Matrix Synapse on AWS EC2 (free tier)
• Set up and integrate Mautrix bridge for LinkedIn or Instagram to enable cross-platform messaging
• Configure NGINX and associate the server with a DuckDNS domain
• Design and build a responsive frontend using React or Next.js to display Matrix rooms and chat data
• Develop and integrate AI features such as:

1. Conversation summarization
2. Intent detection
3. Daily activity reports
4. Vector search capabilities

• Perform end-to-end testing using Matrix clients (e.g., Element)
• Provide complete technical documentation, including source code, deployment instructions, and a working demo

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Docker, Linux server environments, and AWS EC2
• Hands-on knowledge of Matrix Synapse and chat bridge technologies like Mautrix
• Proficiency in frontend development using React or Next.js
• Working knowledge of NGINX setup and domain configuration (preferably with DuckDNS)
• Familiarity with NLP and AI frameworks, including but not limited to Hugging Face and FAISS
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture and the ability to independently deliver integrated solutions

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work with chat-based platforms or federated messaging systems
• Experience documenting technical builds for developer handoff or open-source contribution
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively
